You can usually find me frustratedly hunched over some new craft I’m attempting, struggling to learn a new song on the ukulele, writing, drawing, singing, frowning or smiling at my camera depending on the success of my latest photo or video attempt, or sleeping.
In the early stages of applying to conservatories for vocal performance, chronic illness required me to instead rework my life around it. This has been an extremely slow and trying process, as has trying to figure out what “chronic illness” even means for me. As of now, I have two for-sure diagnoses — POTS and Klippel-Feil Syndrome — and two maybes — ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia.
